«So, what is time? When I am asked, I know. If I wish to explain it to someone who asks me, I do not know”.
The observation of Saint Augustine the 5th century clarified the conceivable distance that separates clarity of time of organization and thought, from the ambiguity of his definition. Difficult times, a bad moment, beautiful years, tomorrow, yesterday, in the future, in a minute, in a moment. Words and expressions define the meaning of time for each individual as do infinite and unique interpretations. Clarity and ambiguity do not define the framework; but the sentimental coordinates upon which 26 contemporary artists will interpret, define, describe, invent and display time. The viewers in turn will dedicate their own time so as to comprehend and reflect upon an exhibition where time will leave its own marks.
