G. Kassetas & G. Spanos: Jungle of illusions

On Tuesday, December 13, TAF is pleased to host the presentation of Giorgos Spanos and Giannis Kassetas’ new album, Jungle of Illusions.

The Jungle of Illusions contains Kassetas and Spanos’ original compositions, free improvisations according to the standards of the Avant-Garde of the 60’s, as well as interesting mixtures of genres such as classic blues combined with free jazz, some oriental hints and modal harmonies. However, always with a personal touch that characterizes the group.

The live performances of the improvisational duo Kassetas-Spanos have already made an impression to those who follow the music events of this city. Several musicians who have taken part in the recordings of their new album, will accompany them in this live performance.
